LISTEN: Bega Valley aiming to be Australia’s most circular economy

The Bega Valley is set to become the poster child for a Circular Economy, with a next-level $19 million National Centre for Circularity to educate and attract tourists to be built in North Bega by 2026.

The project is being led by Bega Group Chairman, Barry Irvin, who’s company is chipping in $5 million, with the NSW Government funding the rest.

This week we chat with Barry about what Circularity actually is and what it means for the region, and the man in charge of the show, Andrew Taylor, from the Regional Circularity Co-Operative, who’s turning the vision into an every day reality.
