Local environmentalists will head back to the courts later this year for another round with the Forestry Corporation over the protection of endangered gliders.
It follows an historic win yesterday in the High Court, which ruled 5-0 they could take legal action against the state owned organisation for allegedly failing to protect the species during logging operations.
South East Forest Rescue’s Scott Daines said the Forestry Corporation’s strategy to shut down this case before it even began has failed.
