Tougher road safety laws are on the way on the Far South Coast for drink and drug drivers.
The State Government has tabled legislation that will allow blood and urine samples to be taken from a driver if they are involved in a serious crash.
Roads Minister Jenny Aitchison said under current law this can only happen if there is a fatality.

The new law includes riders of bicycles and e-bikes.
