Bega Valley and Eurobodalla businesses bring home awards

Businesses and employees from the Bega Valley and Eurobodalla have brought home eight gongs at the 2024 Business NSW Far South Coast Business Awards.

The awards, held at the Bay Pavilions in Batemans Bay on Friday night (September 6), recognised some of the best in business from the capital to the coast.

Tathra Beach Eco Camp was the big winner on the night, taking home the Excellence in Sustainability Award and 2024 Business of the Year.

Beach Road Surgery & Skin Clinic in Batemans Bay was named Employer of Choice.

The Narooma Oyster Festival will need to make more room in it’s extensive trophy cabinet, after winning the Visitor Experience Award.

Broulee’s Banksia Villages took home Outstanding Community Organisation.

Support Services 2 You in Bega was recognised for Excellence in Large Business while individual honours went to Sarah Gorst of South Coast Seaweed (Outstanding Young Business Leader), and Nicole McDonald from Eurobodalla Meals on Wheels (Outstanding Employee).

All award winners from the night will represent the Far South Coast at the upcoming NSW Business Awards on October 30 at the International Convention Centre in Sydney.
