It appears the playground in front of the Waterfront Cafe in Merimbula is not the only one in the town set to be removed.
Cafe owner Greg told us last week he was stunned to learn from a sign stuck on the fence that the 25-year-old facility was possibly going to be removed and replaced with two logs and some woodchips.
Now it’s been revealed the playground in Rotary Park in Eden is also on the chopping block due to safety concerns.
