This is an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity, based at the Moruya Administration Office. This diverse role is positioned to promote a safety and well-being culture across the organisation. Your main duties will include: – Taking a lead role in the development, implementation and review of the WHS Management System. – Facilitating a proactive/generative safety culture highlighting the importance of task-based risk identification and assessment. – Conducting and evaluating WHS training across all of Council’s operations, consistent with agreed training strategies for workers. – Providing professional advice, guidance and assistance to all levels of staff with regard to WHS and chain of responsibility. – Overseeing and participating in WHS and wellbeing projects to ensure compliance with WHS legislation. – Ensuring safe working systems are maintained and improved across Council. The starting salary for this position is $82,379.89 gross per annum plus 11.5% Superannuation.
