Revenue Officer – Arrangements and Referrals

This position is a permanent full time role in the Finance team and based at the Moruya Administration Office. In this role your primary focus will be to administer payment arrangements on overdue rates, water and debtor accounts and coordinate the referral of outstanding accounts without an arrangement for legal recovery. Your main duties will include: – Monitor and investigate overdue accounts. – Liaise with the external debt recovery agency in relation to the collection of outstanding accounts. – Monitor and maintain comprehensive records of all dealings with the debtor and the debt recovery agency. – Provide ongoing support to other staff and the Revenue Supervisor as required. – Respond to rates related correspondence and enquiries.
