This position is a fixed term, full time role in the People and Safety team and based at the Moruya Administration Office. You will contribute to the development, maintenance and implementation of the WHS framework and strategy and Return to Work Program at Council. Your main duties will include: – Support in providing professional advice and guidance to the Leadership Team in relation to Workers Compensation matters. – Assist in providing professional advice, guidance and assistance to all levels of staff with regard to injury management and WHS. – Oversee and participate in WHS and injury management projects to ensure compliance with the Council’s WHS Management System and Return to Work Program. – Support in the development and review of policies, procedures and associated documentation, to ensure compliance with WHS and workers compensation legislation.
