Who We Are At the Moruya Youth Refuge, we provide advice, guidance and a safe space for young people who are experiencing homeless, or at risk of homelessness, in the Eurobodalla region of NSW. The Opportunity If you’re ready to create positive change and support young people in crisis, we want to hear from you! This position supports the Team Leader, Eurobodalla Youth Homelessness Support Service in the development and delivery of service and support to young people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness and who access the Moruya Youth Refuge. The position requires you to work independently but within a team environment. On-call responsibilities and shift work are requirements of this role. Role Type: Permanent Part Time: 107.5 hours over a 4-week period = 7 shifts per fortnight – mix of day, night and weekend shifts. Note: Number of hours can be flexible either more or less.

Skills Required
You will bring to the role your previous experience working with community services, specifically youth and families. You’ll have highly developed networking skills to build relationships and have a good working knowledge of local community services within the Eurobodalla region. Your natural optimism and resilient nature will be an asset, and you’ll enjoy working to and achieving targets. You’ll also be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check. Requirements: Minimum Certificate III in Youth Work or similar Community Service discipline. Full Australian Working rights (NO RESTRICTIONS) Experience in case management.
