Computers 4 Community
The Repurposing for Resilience team are excited to let your listeners know of our ‘Computers 4 Community’ workshop kicking off Saturday 17 May.
RfR is teaming up with Tims Computing and the Tec Exec to bring this fantastic project to our region.
‘Computers 4 Community’ will give new life to old computers, monitors and laptops that were destined for e-waste. The refurbished equipment will then be gifted to our local not for profit organisations and workshop participants FREE!.
This initiative is all about keeping our community connected; providing free access to hands-on training and resources all while reducing the impact of waste on our environment.
Come along to learn as little or as much as you like about all things IT, or even just help out.
Light lunch is also provided.
