As a boy, Ian had two dreams in life.

One was to become a pilot and the other was to work in radio. He has achieved both, working in radio as a journalist, an on-air personality, and as a senior executive with several leading national radio networks. As a commercial pilot, he has run his own successful general aviation business for several decades.

Having been lucky enough to work in Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland on radio, and flying nationwide, Ian and his wife have now settled in the beautiful south of NSW.

Ian feels lucky to be working at an extremely community-focused local radio station like 2Ec in possibly the most idyllic Australian lifestyle environment.
